Tash Yates is a qualified HSE Part IV Diver & marine scientist, and a current PhD student, working with Elasmobranchs in Scottish waters, with Edinburgh Napier University.

I'm Tash, a diver and marine scientist currently undertaking a PhD focused on imaging techniques form studying elasmobranchs. Think drones, Baited Underwater Video systems and ultrasound. I have several years of experience working in the UK diving, and my work now bridges field-based research, underwater imaging, and scientific communication.

I'm interested in collaborative projects - whether scientific, technical, or commercial - that involve underwater data collection, media documentation, or outreach.
